Cpl. Henry C. Yonce 5/19/1959 Corporal Yonce was on duty in Abbeville County on May 6, 1959 when his patrol vehicle went off the roadway to avoid an oncoming truck in his lane. He died as a result of his injuries. Corporal Yonce was a twenty year veteran of the Patrol and was a native of Edgefield County.
