Ptl. Alfred Alexander Thomason 7/27/1970 Patrolman Thomason was on duty in Sumter County and was killed in a vehicle collision at the entrance to Shaw Airfield Air Force Base. Patrolman Thomason was a two year veteran of the Patrol was a native of Anderson County.
