L/Cpl. Jacob Ham Jr. 2/8/1998 Lance Corporal Ham was on duty in Darlington County when he suffered a heart attack and died when he subdued and arrested a suspect during a traffic stop. Lance Corporal Ham was a twelve year veteran of the Patrol.
