Trp. Harry McKinley Coker Jr. 6/21/1989 Trooper Coker was on duty in Fairfield County when he was struck and killed by car as he was investigating another vehicle collision. Trooper Coker was the son of a retired trooper who was the sergeant-at-arms of the state senate.
