L/Cpl. Michael Allen Chappell 4/17/1995 Lance Corporal Chappell was on duty in Clarendon County when his patrol car ran off the roadway and overturned after pursuing a violator. Lance Corporal Chappell died as a result of his injuries. Lance Corporal Chappell was a seven year veteran of the Patrol.
