Ptl. Arnold R. Carter 6/18/1956 Patrolman Carter was on duty in Williamsburg County investigating vehicles racing. Patrolman Carter was killed when he was struck standing off the roadway by one of the racing vehicle. Patrolman Carter was a native of Chester County.
