Ptl. Fulton House Anthony 3/10/1973 Patrolman Anthony was on duty in Greenville County when he and another patrolman were transporting two suspects who were arrested. One of the suspects produced a handgun and shot Patrolman Anthony in the back. The other patrolman shot and killed the suspect. Patrolman Anthony later died from his injuries. Patrolman Anthony was a fourteen year veteran of the Patrol and was a native of Pickens County.
