Name:Keith Glenn
Date of Birth:8/9/1946
Date of Passing:2/4/2004
Hometown:Greenville
State:SC
County/Road of Fatal Collision:Greenville/Hwy 183

Keith was my older brother and only sibling. He shared my home with me for 15 years along with my three children so we were closer than most brothers and sisters.

Although he was 57 years old, he died way too young. His morning routine included running and lifting weights. He didn't smoke and was careful about what he ate. We thought he would outlive all of us. He was in such good health.

Driving home from his Wednesday visit to the Pickens Flea Market on Hwy 183, he ran off the road and down a 30 foot embankment. Keith was transported to the hospital where he passed away after three hours in the trauma unit even though he was wearing his seatbelt. We were all so shocked that he died.

Keith is survived by his mother who is 80. He visited her several times a week and took care of her home for her. Also he is survived by my children, one nephew, two nieces and two grandnieces. They thought the world of him.

As my 4-year old granddaughter would tell him, "Uncle Keish, you’re my best friend." We loved and miss him so much.

He enjoyed restoring old cars, buying and selling cars, treasure hunting, flying and hangliding, jetskiing, shagging and oldies music, running and many other activities.

Deidre Glenn Johnson,
Keith's Sister
