George Coleman Sr. was a friendly, helpful person who enjoyed sharing whatever he had with others. George enjoyed life every day. His smile was contagious. George truly loved his family. This was reflected in his attendance at family reunions. George was dedicated to his country. He served in Vietnam.
At the end of his tour of duty, he was given an honorable discharge. He loved and was dedicated to his country. He fought for freedom and democracy. Mt. Sinai AME Church was where George served as assistant pastor. His great grandparents were founding members of the church. It was a great privilege for George to serve at Mt. Sinai.
