"Bad things happen to good people." That's what I've always been told by my grandfather growing up. He was strong yet gentle and positive all the time. He never looked down on anyone for their actions and had enough love in his heart to fill the ocean.
He loved to drive. He would be on the road driving his motorcoaches and would look like a kid just giddy with delight for just a drive around the block in his new bus.
He had just bought a brand new 2004 motorcoach and surely went to Heaven a happy man. He was a devoted Christian and we can only rest our troubled hearts by telling ourselves that he was called home to drive a motorcoach in heaven because God needed him more than we did. Everyone has a purpose that is still on earth and that must be why God chose not to have any of the family on that bus that day, and all passengers on his bus were not hurt.
