Jaime' Lee Sweatman, an 11th grade student at Holly Hill Academy, had just turned 16, and gotten her driver's license two weeks before her the car accident that took her life. Jaime' is the daughter of Ronald and Robin Sweatman and the sister of Ron Sweatman II. Jaime's motto in life was "Don't count your days, Make your days count!" She lived a life in 16 years that most people don't live in many more. Jaime' was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church.
Jaime' was president of her Junior Class, Captain of the Varsity Volleyball Team, and a varsity cheerleader at HHA. She was a member of the yearbook staff, the FCA, Student Council and Double Sextet. She was also a member of Lois Dangerfield School of Dance and Voice. Jaime' was a singer in the Gospel Brass Band that traveled all over South Carolina. Jaime' never wanted to waste a minute. She tried to stay as busy as possible, and I'm so glad she did. Life without Jaime' is unbearable. We try to think about all the good times we had with her. We were so lucky to have had her -- if only for 16 years. I thank God everyday for giving such a joy to our lives. We never could have asked for a better daughter. She was such a good girl. She was my best friend who I will never get over losing. There will be a hole in our heart that can never be filled. We will long for the day that we can be together again. Through Jaime's life, God used her to touch so many people. Her faith in God was very strong, I have had many to tell me that you could see God through her. One senior at HHA told me they could not think of one bad thing about Jaime'. She always had a smile and was singing!
In her journal she had left a few letters to family and friends in there she told us to look to God for guidance and she hoped to see us again.
We will continue to keep her memory alive in our hearts forever!!
