Javis was a good, well-mannered young man. Everyone who came in touch with him grew to love him. He dreamed to be a car designer and mechanic. He knew a lot about cars' performance and style. Javis was killed in an automobile accident on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at 6:15, while visiting his grandmother about two miles from where he lost control of his grandmother's car after washing it- the worst day of my life. Javis was my only child. He attended AR Rucker Middle School in Lancaster, South Carolina. He was an eighth grader and had many friends who also miss him.
He had wonderful teachers who he cared about and they cared about him. His friends and teachers had a memorial service at school. They planted a tree in his memory. He would always try to make everyone happy. To family members, he would kiss or shake their hands. I hate to say he was spoiled by not only mom, dad, grandparents, buteveryone he came in touch with helped us out.
Through God's grace and mercy, I have been able to stay focused with my future trying to meet my life goals. Many people always say if I lost my only child, I would be insane. But we need to realize that our children belong to the Lord and he lent them to us to love and take care of them. So what I try to say: love, care, and protect your children because we do not know how long he is going to let us keep them. GOD DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES.
