Current:
Part of a statewide team of troopers designated to speak to the media about Highway Patrol issues and educate the public about highway safety issues through presentations and other safety programs geared toward diverse audiences: from preschoolers to senior drivers.

Professional Experience:
• Appointed to the South Carolina Highway Patrol in August 1994
• Assigned to Dorchester County in Troop 6 after completing Patrol Training School in November 1994
• Transferred to Patrol Headquarters as a CRO in the Community Relations Office with
   duty station in Troop 6 Headquarters in April 2007

Certifications:
• Basic Public Information Officer’s Course from S.C. Emergency Preparedness Division
• Specific skills instructor from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy (SCCJA)
• Driving instructor from SCCJA
• Back ground Investigator from SCCJA
• DUI Detection and Enforcement from SCCJA
• Accident Reconstruction (phases 1-5) from SCCJA

Memberships/Hobbies:
• United States Navy (1989-1994)
• Served in Operation Desert Storm/ Desert Shield
• South Carolina Trooper’s Association
• Boating, spending time with son and playing guitar
