Current:
Part of a statewide team of troopers designated to work with the public on enhancing highway safety particularly in the areas of occupant restraint and child passenger safety. Works in partnership with SafeKids and local law enforcement agencies to promote child safety in local jurisdictions through safety seat checks and other outreach opportunities.

• Joined the South Carolina Highway Patrol, February 26, 1978: Stationed in Fairfield and Kershaw Counties
• Assigned as Patrolman in Fairfield County 1978-1982
• Assigned as Patrolman in Kershaw County 1982-1987
• Assigned to Patrol Supply in Columbia 1987-1995; promoted to Corporal in 1988; Promoted to Sergeant in 1993
• Assigned to Patrol Headquarters for Special Operations in 1995, promoted to Lieutenant in 1995
• Promoted to Captain in 1999
• Assigned to Criminal Justice Academy as driving instructor, December, 2001-2005
• Assigned to Community Relations Office in Patrol Headquarters, August 2005-present
