Current:
Oversees a statewide team of troopers designated to speak to the media about Highway Patrol issues and educate the public about highway safety issues through presentations and other safety programs geared toward diverse audiences: from preschoolers to senior drivers.

Professional Experience:
• Joined the SCHP in August 1990
• Assigned to Aiken County, Troop 7
• Transferred to Lexington County, Troop 1 in December 1992
• Appointed as Troop 1 CRO in 2001
• Named Troop 1 Trooper of the Year and DPS Officer of the Year, 2001
• Promoted to Enforcement Corporal in Lexington County in April 2003
• Promoted to Sergeant with assignment to the Office of Community Relations in Patrol Headquarters in December, 2005

• Basic Public Information Officer’s Course from S.C. Emergency Preparedness Division
• Advanced Public Information Officer Course from FEMA Training Center in Emmittsburg, MD
• Incident Command System from S.C. Emergency Management Division
• Specific skills instructor from S.C. Criminal Justice Academy (SCCJA)
• Data master operator and Radar operator from SCCJA
• Background Investigator from SCCJA
• DUI Detection and Enforcement from SCCJA
• Accident Reconstruction (Phases 1-5) from SCCJA
• Aggressive Criminal Enforcement from SCCJA
• “Operation Lifesaver” Presenter from CLI in Columbia
• Child passenger safety seat technician
