Date/Time:April 21, 2005, at 6 p.m.
Location: SC 3, three miles south of Blackville
Description: A 13-year old girl was standing on the side of SC Highway 3 near Blackville.
The suspect vehicle, traveling south, ran off the right side of the roadway
striking the 13-year old girl and fled the scene. The girl died as a result of
the injuries sustained. The vehicle is believed to be a Ford Crown Victoria --
between a 1992 to 1997 model. The vehicle should have damage to the front,
right side.
