Location: SC 48, Bluff Road, near I-77
Description: A 32-year old female pedestrian was attempting to cross over highway SC 48 to
the west side. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling east on SC 48
and was thrown into the westbound lanes. The pedestrian was then struck by an
unknown vehicle traveling west on SC 48 that failed to stop at the scene. The
pedestrian died as a result of her injuries.
